Nintendo Switch Lite is a compact, lightweight addition to the Nintendo Switch family, with integrated controls. The console supports all Nintendo Switch software that can be played in handheld mode. As a dedicated handheld gaming device, Nintendo Switch Lite does not support output to a TV.

Controllers are built right into the system for handheld play, and the left side sports a + Control Pad. For games that do not support handheld mode, players can wirelessly connect compatible controllers (sold separately) to Nintendo Switch Lite. If using separate Joy-Con controllers, users will need to have a device to recharge them, such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip.
